When spooky times ignite the Rock
And midnight's pallor stops the clock There is one place the good man goes To Rebsamen, where saving grows The dev'lish mischief is about The con man, ghost and peevish lout The pumpkins glow upon the ground But you, good friend, are safe and sound For armed with spirits, beer, and wine You've saved enough for peace of mind Sipping sagely, you've no fear "Damn, that is pretty solid beer" We wanted to share this classic chestnut from The Onion. Enjoy the cooler weather, turning leaves, and stout toddies!
![]() You know how it goes. Big soulless store has the best price, small boutique has great service but is more expensive. Right? Not at Rebsamen. We decided long ago to make competitive prices a key part of our approach. Seeing customers up close every day, and actually talking to them, we learned a few things. First, customers pay attention. We know you look at prices and have a good sense of what's fair. Second, you can fool some of the people all of the time, or all of the people some of the time, but you can't fool all of the people all of the time. In other words, specials are great and all, but everyday prices are what matter most. Since price matters to our customers, we keep them lower than our competitors in Riverdale, Hillcrest, and the Heights. That's why our customers keep coming back, and why we've been in business for 50 years and counting. If you assumed our prices were high just because we're small, think again, and come see us. ![]() Here at Rebsamen, we love beer. Yet somehow we missed National Beer Day, April 7. Maybe because it's not a real holiday? Regardless, we'd like to make up for the oversight by unilaterally announcing that this week, April 11 through 16 (no Sunday sales in Arkansas), is National Beer Week! Now what does this mean for you, the customer? Not a whole lot. But ask yourself, what did National Beer Day really mean? The advantages of National Beer Week are (1) it's longer, (2) it gives you more excuses to drink beer, and what else do you really need? So come by Rebsamen this week and check out our cutting edge revolving cooler of microbrews. Or dip into some spring ales. Or just pick up a 6er of Bud Light in the throwback packaging. Either way, it's time for beer, and that's always a good thing. ![]() Seems like the Presidential election is all anyone is talking about these days! Trump, Clinton, Cruz, Sanders... how many candidates are there again? At Rebsamen, we may not know much about politics, but we do know a lot about the best liquor and wine selection in Riverdale. And customer service, since we've got 50 years of expertise and neighborhood friends to count on. And believe it or not, our prices are lower than our liquor store competition, too. Now this is sounding like a stump speech. But our promises aren't empty rhetoric... we promise! Tommy is fond of telling customers, "We don't carry boxed wine." After he gets the desired shocked reaction, he'll pause a beat, then come with the kicker: "We carry Chateau Cardboard." Always a classy experience at Rebsamen Liquor! And for the record, we carry tons of varieties of Franzia, Bota Box, and other excellent boxed wines.
