Let's raise a glass to Chad Morris. Formerly SMU's head coach, Clemson's offensive coordinator, and a Dallas-area high school coach, the new head Hog brings a bold offensive mind and lots of Texas connections to Fayetteville. He also brings a stern look and a rock-solid jaw. He might not have as many jokes as Bert, but I think you can reasonably expect some more SEC wins.
Pairs with: Tito's vodka, Deep Eddy vodka
Let's pour one out for Bret Bielema. For all his failings - and there were many, from his inability to win SEC games, to his stagnant offense, to his failure to recruit and coach a decent offensive line, to his foolish feuds with other coaches, to his "lively" social exploits - consensus is that Bielema was a pretty decent guy underneath it all. He might not be missed, but he may be fondly remembered.
Pairs with: 8-10 Bud heavies
There are few traditions more enjoyable than the start of fall beer season. The air is crisp. As you zip up your jacket and step outside into the blinding early evening sunlight, you might hear the distant sound of football pads cracking or little kids shrieking their way through a soccer game. With the slight chill in the air, sitting outside with friends is a perfect pastime. The jokes are a little funnier. The beers go down smooth, but you don't mind a little complexity around this time of year. Pumpkin, hops, warm red ales. That's the stuff. It's fall beer season, available at Rebsamen.
Ho, ho, ho. It's everyone's favorite season (well, almost everyone...), and almost your last chance to stock up for whatever cheerful family festivities you have planned. We've got great Christmas deals on wine for your banquet, beer for your chill sesh, and whiskey for your hard night of reckoning. (Hey, it takes all kinds.) Whatever the season has in store for you, we at Rebsamen wish you the best, and we hope that you remember the reason for the season. Merry Christmas to all, glad tidings, and we hope to see you soon.
We're open all week. Stock up for all your festivities and, most importantly, the nice glass of wine or chill beer after all the guests have left and it's time to RELAX! See you around!
You don't know what you've got til' it's gone. Yeah, I'm talking about summer. We've had a great summer here at Rebsamen, and hope you have, too. August was almost kind of comfortable, I mean, what? Anyway, this is the penultimate summer weekend before Labor Day and all the busy life stuff of fall. It's a great weekend to kick back with a summer shandy and reflect on things you've done and, more importantly, didn't do this summer. Enjoy one last chill weekend before life comes roaring back in a few weeks.
Here at Rebsamen, we love beer. Yet somehow we missed National Beer Day, April 7. Maybe because it's not a real holiday? Regardless, we'd like to make up for the oversight by unilaterally announcing that this week, April 11 through 16 (no Sunday sales in Arkansas), is National Beer Week!
Now what does this mean for you, the customer? Not a whole lot. But ask yourself, what did National Beer Day really mean? The advantages of National Beer Week are (1) it's longer, (2) it gives you more excuses to drink beer, and what else do you really need?
So come by Rebsamen this week and check out our cutting edge revolving cooler of microbrews. Or dip into some spring ales. Or just pick up a 6er of Bud Light in the throwback packaging. Either way, it's time for beer, and that's always a good thing.
It's March, and the weather is supposed* to be great in Little Rock this weekend. Wahoo! Come down to Rebsamen and grab some spring beer and other fine selections. Grill a steak, hang by the pool, whatever floats your boat. In fact, that's another good idea: float in a boat! The world is your oyster when the sun is out, and this weekend should be a great one.
*We'll see. I trust a weather forecaster as far as I can throw him.
It's football season. Whether you're cajoling the Hogs to a few more hard-fought wins and a bowl berth, or throwing up your hands about the Cowboys, or have skin in the game, or have fantasy football working, or just like to kick back on the weekend and survey the scene, we've all got football fever. And nothing goes better with pigskin than ice cold beer. At Rebsamen, we've got a full complement of macro and micro brews that we'd hold up against any competitor's selection. And our price is always best in the area. Touch down to 1319 Rebsamen Park Drive and pick up a few suds today.
Bert and the boys take on Toledo tomorrow in Little Rock! It's our only game this season, so you know it's going to be huge. Here at Rebsamen, we're ready to take care of all your beer and liquor needs. We've got the lowest prices north of the stadium, and we're stocked up and ready to go for the game! Come by today (we're open til midnight) or tomorrow (we open at 10 am), get supplied, have a great tailgate, watch the #18 Hogs hang 30 or 40 on Toledo, and stick around for Brad Paisley. It's a great day to live in Little Rock!
